Register for the U-16 League
The Golden Generation representing the 1994 electric Romanian National team is coming back to America!
Guest Star: Florin Răducioiu, Romania’s golgeter at the ‘94 World Cup, the first player in the world to score in each of the big 5 Leagues (Italy, Spain, France, Germany, England), FC Barcelona Director for Romania.
This event is organized with the help of the Honorary Consulate of Romania to Michigan.
Featuring: Adrian Ambrosie (scouting for the Romanian National Teams), Clementin Oancea (scouting for FC Dallas Academy), Florin Răducioiu (scouting for FC Barcelona Romania)
This year’s tournament will accomplish 3 main purposes:
- Uniting the Romanian Community in the Midwest region of the United States of America, and promoting Romania in the local community.
- Scouting young talents for Romania’s National Youth Teams, FC Dallas Youth Academy and FC Barcelona Youth Academy
- Fundraiser to support Charity Cup missionary efforts in Tanzania and Moldova.
Tournament Theme: World Cup ‘94
Dates: October 25 & 26, 2024
Age group: born 2008, 2009 …
Format: 8 vs 8 (14 player Roster); 40 min long games (2 x 20 min halfs)
Registration Fee: $850/team (we are looking for sponsors for the U16 league to help lower the cost of participation. Please contact us if you wish to sponsor this event. Contact information bellow. ).
Registration deadline: early registration $750/team by Oct 12 || $850 by Oct 19.

Important:
*every team will be allowed to register 4/5 players born in 2007 & 2006.
*minimum 3 games/team guaranteed
*every team must have an adult (over 21) to supervise the team and keep in touch with the organizers.
*teams must have uniforms with numbers on the back of the t-shirt
*every minor player must submit Parental Consent to participate in the Charity Cup League.
